Residential Services
Hope Center has three residential programs designed to ensure
that each consumer can progress to the level of independence that is
safest and most compatible with his/her skills in a setting designed to
meet each individual's unique needs and preferences.
All residential programs are staffed 24 hours a day to utilize services and activities available throughout the community. Including public transportation, leisure activities, and medical care. Individualized training programs are designed for each resident, affording him/her the ability to acquire a wide range of self-care and daily living skills necessary for independence.
Congregate Living: Hope Center's Dormitories provide a full care environment for persons who require assistance and training in all areas of self-care, daily living skills, and leisure skills.
Raphael Hall: Located conveniently on the Hope Center's main campus, Raphael Hall is a semi-independent living unit designed to prepare individuals to live more independently through training in living skills such as cooking, laundry, home maintenance, community mobility and leisure time activities.
The Community Based Living: These are supervised condominiums for people who have demonstrated the ability to prepare simple meals, perform some home maintenance skills and desire integrated living. Staff is available to provide training in a variety of services based on individual needs. These include twenty-four hour supervision, assistance with grocery shopping, paying bills, banking and budgeting, accessing leisure time activities and assisting with maintaining employment.
Respite Care: Respite Care is available for people who reside in a family or group home and is designed to provide a temporary, alternate residence in the event of family emergency or vacation that doesn't include the consumer.
